VISA Falcon Fraud
Prevention Service
Hundreds of
millions of dollars are lost to Fraud annually. On JUNE 15th,
2005 we implemented the use of Falcon, a Visa Fraud Prevention
Service. This service is able to monitor “out-of-pattern” or
abnormal transactions 24/7. It detects Fraud early to minimize
losses.
Falcon fraud
call center:
An Analyst may call to confirm a transaction being done with your
Visa card. They will confirm your last 4 digits incase you have
more than one card with Great NorthWest Federal Credit Union. They will
have access to limited personal information about our cardholders.
They will need to verify that it is the primary member they are
talking to. The analyst will verify three pieces of information to
confirm that they are talking to the member.
PLEASE
NOTE:
- The phone
number that they will call from is 1-866-602-8205.

In
each of these cases, the analyst will not ask for
complete information.
- The
analyst will review the transactions in dispute after verification.
- Analysts will place a block on the card if it is confirmed there is
fraudulent activity on the card.

call directly to the Credit Union.
