Your 72nd Annual Membership Meeting

The Annual Membership Meeting was held Saturday, April 26th at The Historic Chinook School - in Chinook. We had a great turnout with over 60 members in attendance.

Food was provided by Dylan’s Cottage Bakery and dinner was served just before 5:30pm.

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman of the Board, Mike Lewin at 6:20pm. Our President/CEO Doug Page provided an update on the credit union as well as our Treasurer, Ken Cummings. There is a lot to be excited about for the credit union. The Treasurer’s report indicates a very healthy net worth of 17.09%. This means the credit union is very well-positioned to execute new projects and continue growing.

The theme of this years’ meeting was: “Community Compass: Guided By Purpose” which was reflected in Doug Page’s comments - “As we look to the future, we remain committed to blending innovation with a personal touch. We will never let automation replace relationships. Our credit union is about people, and our approach ensures that every member, whether walking into a branch or logging in online—receives the same level of care, respect, and attention.”

A silent auction was held at the meeting with all proceeds benefiting local food banks. $760 was raised which will be equally distributed amongst the credit union service area’s food banks. In 2024, the credit union donated a record amount of funds to local non-profits totaling over $79 thousand. The credit union has attained a CDFI (Community Development Financial Institution) designation, which allows us to apply for grant funds and provide loans to those who otherwise may not qualify. The credit union secured a $625,000 grant last year for this purpose.

All incumbent Board Members retained their seats during the voting and the meeting was officially adjourned at 6:56PM.
