External Loan Payment Terms

I (We) acknowledge that the origination of ACH transaction to my (our) account must comply with the provision of U.S. Law and the Rules of the National Automated Clearing House Association. I (We) further acknowledge that I (we) have access to a copy of this authorization electronically and all ACH instructions.

You hereby authorize and request Great NorthWest FCU to debit funds from your account at the Financial Institution indicated, and credit the funds according to the above instructions provided via our Digital Banking platforms. Funds need to be on deposit at the designated Financial Institution on the evening prior to the effective date of the ACH debit. In the event of an error, you authorize Great NorthWest to take any and all action required to correct the error. If at any time an attempt to receive the ACH payment fails, Great NorthWest may terminate this authorization and I (we) understand that if any debit under this authorization is returned or dishonored, I (we) will promptly send Great NorthWest the total monthly payment due, plus any late charge or other fees due.

If you are using funds for a Great NorthWest loan payment, you authorize Great NorthWest to adjust the final payment to the lessor amount of that payment to complete the payoff. Recurring ACH payments may pull excess amounts if a loan is scheduled to payoff. If excess funds are received, Great NorthWest will credit excess funds to Share Suffix 1. Great NorthWest may assist in preventing future loan payments, but it is your responsibility to cancel payments upon payoff.

You agree to indemnify and hold Great NorthWest FCU harmless from all costs, including attorney’s fees, (to the extent permitted by law), damage or claims related to Great NorthWest’s action in refusing payment of the item, including claims of any joint account-holder, payee, endorsee, or in failing to cancel or process an item as a result of incorrect information provided by you. Great NorthWest may terminate or suspend this agreement for breach of these rules at any time.
