Great NorthWest Financial Center Is Open For Business

Great NorthWest Federal Credit Union is growing. The new space at 331 W. Wishkah St. is located in the same building as their current Aberdeen branch location, just a couple doors down at Harbor Place. “We have been continually growing at a steady pace, we’ve been busy and it’s starting to make space a premium at our current location” says Doug Page, President & CEO.

“At this time, our Retirement & Investment Services, Mortgages and Business Lending will all utilize the new space. It’s more private and allows us to service our members with the kind of attention we always feel they deserve – especially when making life-changing financial decisions.”

By moving these services over to the new location, it opens up much needed space in the branch for the ever-expanding branch services. In the past year, Great NorthWest Federal Credit Union has hired on 12 new staff including Lending, Member Services and Call Center personnel.

Great NorthWest FCU was founded in 1953 and has been growing steadily ever since. Expanding their reach from just Weyerhaeuser employees and their families to anyone who lives, works or worships in Grays Harbor and Pacific County.  In 2017, Great NorthWest FCU also acquired GH Woodworkers Credit Union in a merger and added over 800 members. Last year, the credit union expanded their field of membership to include Mason, Lewis and Wahkiakum residents. With branches in Aberdeen, Raymond, Long Beach, Ocean Park and a new branch in Chehalis slated to open in May – look for Great NorthWest FCU to continue to grow and expand.
