Chehalis Branch is Open For Business!

Great NorthWest Federal Credit Union expands into Lewis County

Great NorthWest Federal Credit Union has been serving the people of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties since receiving their first charter in 1953, serving Weyerhaeuser employees and their families. Opening their first new branch in 20 years, Great NorthWest FCU has expanded into the Lewis County market with a branch opening in Walmart in Chehalis.

Doug Page, President and CEO of Great NorthWest FCU states, “We have many members located in and around Chehalis and we look forward to acquiring new members as well. While Chehalis is a new market for us, it’s very similar to our current membership demographic. Our new branch location is one of convenience and while it is a smaller footprint, we understand the shifting expectations people have for handling their financial transactions.”

With so many options from credit unions to community banks and the emergence of online banking, the market is competitive. Great NorthWest FCU has been growing steadily year over year both in assets and membership numbers. Currently at $155 million in assets and with a membership base of over 16 thousand, Great NorthWest FCU is looking forward to growing in Lewis County.

“Competitive loan rates, great employees and a growing catalog of products and services keep us competitive. Moving ahead, we have just launched some new checking products that offer cash back and higher dividends along with other perks. With a focus on digital solutions, we are always looking to expand current products and services while seeking out new technology to better serve our members.”

You are eligible to open an account with Great NorthWest FCU if you live, work or worship in: Grays Harbor, Pacific, Mason, Lewis or Wahkiakum Counties. With branch locations in Aberdeen, Raymond, Long Beach, Ocean Park and now Chehalis – Great NorthWest Federal Credit Union is growing with a purpose.
