Stimulus Money on EIP Card?

The IRS is sending out over 8 million Economic Impact Payments via card. You may be receiving yours in the mail soon. The IRS stated some people inadvertently threw their cards away during the last round of payments. Please check your mail carefully and make sure you don’t throw your card out.

Just because you may have received direct deposit or a paper check last time, doesn’t mean that is how you will receive your payment this time. So if you haven’t received a check, or deposit, you should keep your eyes out for a card in the mail.

For FAQ and instructions on how to use your card, visit the EIP website here.

Your Economic Impact Payment Card (EIP Card) contains the money you are receiving under the COVID-related Tax Relief Act of 2020 or the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). The EIP Card is sponsored by the U.S. Department of the Treasury Bureau of the Fiscal Service as part of the US Debit Card Program. Now that you’ve received your Card, here’s how to activate and start using it.
